Coolest bar in Deep Ellum!! The art alone is enough to wow you, but the food and drinks are phenomenal as well. I highly recommend ordering a tequila-based cocktail, and even more so a mezcal. This is the place to go if you want mezcal cocktails. I went here for dinner and drinks, but the vibe inside is so otherworldly and interesting, I'll definitely come back for brunch and happy hour. However, if you're sensitive about art or religion, this might not be the place for you ;) My only critique is the service could've been a bit better. Despite wanting to order a lot of items, our waiter was extremely rushed the whole time and it felt like we were being pushed along. I would've loved to sit there and soak up the ambience and continue ordering drinks (they still had plenty of tables open, so I wasn't just being a Karen, I swear )

I love this place; the ambiance here is like no other. Their drinks are adventurous and excellent, if you go you have to try a mezcal cocktail, and do not skip the Dorilocos nachos. They are a must-try, and it's hard not to order two plates. Their mains are good as well, this spot is so underrated and more than a cocktail bar.

This place is great. The food and drinks are so inventive and delicious. Love the live music and eclectic service you get. I highly recommend this great place in Deep Ellum. I also highly recommend you get the El Diablito pork shank tacos. Dear man that was so filling and packed with flavor.

The tacos were pretty good, not the best I've ever had, but good for a bar. I also had a great, really fun cocktail. It was a good late-night spot, in a big space with a music venue in the back. Our server was really kind and attentive. I would like to try their other food options and cocktails.

I came for the rum, and will return for the rum, delicious food, enticing aesthetic, and amazingly helpful staff. With only one available night for rum-tasting in Dallas, it quickly became clear that Ruins would be the place to go. I was not disappointed, The online rum list was indeed updated and just as wide and creative as promised. Additional bonus: half pours are available for the eager taster. Our table ordered four different entrees and everyone was thrilled with their meal. Staff were happy to make suggestions and also assisted with descriptions. The space is both dark and bright, with a large covered patio entrance area. Totally recommend a visit

The reviews on Yelp brought me to this place. The service was friendly and attentive. The Santa Muerte cocktail was just perfect. I'd happily order it again. The flautas were pretty good but the standout was the side of rice I ordered. It tasted homemade and like it was made with love. Really loved it. The Al pastor taco (not pictured) was ok and the birria quesadillas (El Precipicio) were good. I believe the birria here is made with goat instead of beef. The vibes inside are very different than any other Mexican restaurant. A lot of devil and Santa muerte art, hipster bar type of vibe. On a Thursday afternoon, it wasn't busy at all but I can see how this place would get busy in the evenings due to their events and bar service.

Favorite bar in Deep Ellum. Good music, good drinks, great service. Our waitress was attentive and sweet and got our drinks out quick even with the busy bar. Really cool decorations like your in Temple Run. I loved that we could hang out and talk but afterwards we went to the attached venue-Limbo Room. We got another drink to walk the live music performance and saw Chris- the sweetest bartender alive! Can't wait to be back!
